Laternenlauf

Tonight we invited over several families for supper and then a walk around our little housing area. Walking with lanterns is a very German thing to do in the fall! We had lanterns and torches tonight. Derek took over the job of lighting the torches. It was a lot of fun. When we got back we enjoyed the delicious oatmeal cookies (which Doreen and Lynette had baked this afternoon) with hot chocolate or hot apple cider.
