Last, but not least

For our little crew the next step was decorating the rooms with poster pictures, and setting up the toys. The boys and men continued with chairs, tables, and at the end the piano. Now everything is pretty well set up, and we look forward to at least one week of ministry in these rooms.
The next stop for my van was our current facilities. Doreen and Lynette, Edwin and Dustin, Danika and Donovan helped carry out the nursery and Sunday School chairs, toys, pencils, tables, etc. We filled our van twice, and they loaded and unloaded with lots of excitement. Danielle sat in the van until we started working inside the new facility. Here the kids are in front of the entrance of the new, and if the Lord wills, next facilities.

Excitement in the air

Today was a vacation day for most schools, since yesterday was Sunday and tomorrow is a national holiday. This afternoon was set aside to prepare the facility we are using for the evangelist services during the second half of this week. The first step was picking up chairs in Niedern which the village is allowing us to borrow for a week. There were 86 chairs in all, which meant two trips with the trailer which the kids are waiting for here.

Finals start tomorrow

This sweet picture of our oldest daughter, Dalene, and our youngest daughter, Danielle, was taken two weeks ago during a surprise visit for my mother's 70th birthday. Dalene and Danielle are in front of the child care center that Dalene has been working in for almost exactly a year now. Tomorrow Dalene has her three hardest finals. She has worked very hard all year, and we rejoice to see how the Lord has brought her through.

Sharing across the miles

Every day is full of big and little happenings. Today we enjoyed a wonderful day of church fellowship. Between the delicious dinner prepared by the ladies and a coffee and cake time, most of us walked to a near-by play ground. We enjoyed the clean spring air, the beautiful blue sky and sunshine, and great fellowship with young and old.

Still learning.......

I wanted to add a few more pictures from today. I am also trying to get the clock set correctly. :)
