Our apricot died somewhere along the way this past year, and there was never any sign of life this spring, so today was designated as "Tree Removal Day". Unfortunately, our camera went the way of Humpty Dumpty and took a great fall, so many of the pictures have funny lines in them. Maybe the lines won't be so obvious in the small version.
All of the kids got to have a turn at sawing, though I don't have pictures of all of them. Danika and Donovan immediately had the idea of making a "Bude", the German word for "hide-out" and set the branches up in the shape of a teepee.
