Today we celebrated the beginning of Danika's school years!

In typical German fashion, but just a week later than the rest of this year's school children, we had a party for Danika today. Bradley had requested to be home to help us celebrate, so we waited until today. German school beginners are given a cone filled with goodies---sweet goodies to make this new adventure more tolerable, and then items to use during school. For example, she received nice pencils and pens, some paper, and a number of other things for which she is thankful. She is off to a good start already, and greatly enjoyed today's special occasion!

Contraultaions on your "formal" beginning of school! We are praying that the Lord will teach you much of Him as you "Give of Your Best to the Master!" May we all please Him in being faithful to that which He has called us!Can't wait to see you very soon!

GREAT Danika! I know you are going to do a wonderful job with Miss Amber! You are growing up so fast - we can't believe that you are already in the first grade! We are proud of you!
