Today was a big day. A good group gathered on the sidewalk across from our new building under the lovely big trees growing there. During the next three hours almost 7000 invitations were put in mailboxes (a legal opportunity here in Germany!).
This is the house we first lived in when we moved to Magdeburg just over 13 years ago. The caretakers had always talked about renovating, and it looks like the time has finally come!
Our nephew, Edwin, turned 8 today. He and Dustin are best friends.
Due to my brother, Kirk, and his family, and another family, friends from the Tübingen ministry (who stayed with Kevin and Carol for three days) we were quite a group for the birthday party. It was a great time of fun and fellowship.
