I had the six youngest kids with me this evening when we went shopping, and fortunately, I had the camera, too. First of all we stopped in a computer store where the kids enjoyed a few minutes of a film on a beautiful
Apple screen. The store help was keeping an eye on them, but they were "good as gold."
Then we came across a delightful interlude, the petting zoo at Toys "Я" Us. These critters were for sale, but were allowed to be petted and "discovered," and the kids had a great time doing so. They ranged in price from $25 to $400, and were really quite amazing. The dinosour could chew and moved his head, the pony was quite animated, the dog responded to commands (even giving his paw on command), etc. This little stop was definitely a highlight of the evening.
We ended our trip with a special ice-cream treat!
