Tidying up the first rooms

Richard, Malte, and Benni were just three of those stirring up dust in the "museum." This building was the office where as recently as 2003 the security personell monitored as many as 600 foreigners seeking assylum. As I walked through one of the dorm buildings I was perplexed. On many of the windows (but none of the walls) cigarette packs were taped onto the windows. I thought, "What did they do? Toss pennies into the boxes?" Finally it dawned on me that the people who lived here must have hung their cell phones on the windows because the reception was best there, so I tried it out with my own.
